Erupting Volcano

The Yasur volcano, located on Tanna Island in Vanuatu, is one of the world's most active volcanoes. This footage is 15 minutes long and contains up-close and distance shots of the live volcano smoking, erupting, and solidifying after cooling down. Note: Two days after this intense footage was shot a guide and tourist were killed and access to the volcano was closed.

The footage also includes local tribes from Vanuatu and underwater scuba footage of the Blowhole in the Great Barrier Reef.

The footage was shot digitally using 3-chip cameras, captured digitally by firewire, and exported to a DV deck via firewire, maintaining complete uncompressed, broadcast quality
